SalonForge Privacy Policy
SalonForge provides software that tanning salons use to run their business, including a member app that lets you sign in to your salon, see your visit history, and check in. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Information we process
Your salon membership record — your name, member number, email address, phone number, visit history, purchases, package balances, and skin-type setting. This record is created and managed by your salon, not by SalonForge; the app displays it to you.
Sign-in information — the email address you enter and one-time codes we send to it. We do not use passwords and never see one.
Consent signatures — if you sign a consent form in the app, we store your signature and the time you signed.
How it's used
Solely to provide the member experience for your salon: signing you in, showing your history and balances, managing check-ins, and keeping required consent records. We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and the app contains no ads and no third-party trackers.
Where it lives
Data is stored on SalonForge's cloud infrastructure in the United States and transmitted only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in emails are delivered through our transactional email provider solely to deliver your code.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time from the Profile tab. Because your membership record belongs to your salon, requests to correct or delete it go to the salon's front desk — they can update or remove your record, and those changes flow through to the app. You can also contact us directly at josh@salonforge.net and we'll coordinate with your salon.
Delete your account or data
To have your app sign-in and any data SalonForge holds about you removed, either ask your salon's front desk to remove your record, or email josh@salonforge.net from the email address you sign in with, including your salon's name and your member number. We confirm within 30 days. Your salon may keep purchase and consent records it is legally required to retain; everything else, including your sign-in, is deleted.
Age
The app is intended for salon members aged 18 and over.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will change and the app will show the new version. Questions: josh@salonforge.net.
